Southcote Residents Association is a mix of tenants and
private residents and is one of the larger associations.
It covers: Ainsdale Crescent, Alan Place, Aldworth Close, Appleford Road, Ashampstead Road, Bran Close, Bray Road,
Brimpton Road, Brunel Road, Burghfield Road, Bute Street, Byefield Road, Circuit Lane, Cowper Way,
Coronation Square, Dwyer Road, Faircross Road, Faringdon Walk, Fawley Road, Florian Gardens, Frilsham Road,
Gainsborough Road, Garston Close, Glenon Close, Hastings Close, Hatford Road, Holybrook Crescent,
Inkpen Close, Kestrel Way, Kintbury Walk, Lea Close, Lytham Close, Maker Close, Restwold Close,
Shepley Drive, Shrublands Drive, Silchester Road, Southcote Farm Lane, Southcote Lane, Stapleford Road,
Sulham Walk, Sylvan Walk, Tallis Lane, Underwood Road, Vine Crescent, Virginia Way, Worcester Close, Wynford Close.
This association is one of the most active in RFTRA. They campaign actively and have in the last year
been instrumental in installing security lighting for tenants, taking senior citizens on a
coach trip to the coast and organising a funday. The
Association has also been integral in getting extra seating, extra lighting, rubbish bins
and dog bins installed. There are a variety of shops and public houses, mainly in
Coronation Square. Southcote has a good
library, an Advice Shop and a Community Centre which houses SITE (Southcote IT Experience)
– A community resource that won the UK Online Award.
