Our AGM was very successful, and after an interesting presentation by Joan Dils (Berkshire Local History Association),
a new committee was voted in to serve until March 2009.
Several Awards were presented and pictured below are the recipients of the Awards.

The Award went to Don Loader for all his work past and present to the community. Don Chairs TRACA and is responsible for the Tilehurst Show which is held every year at Victoria Recreation Ground, it is very popular and successful, and this is all due to the tireless commitment Don gives year after year. He was also the Chair of RFTRA for 3 years, and RFTRA Members are pleased to present this Award to him.

Retiring Chair Bert Holloway and his very supportive wife Joyce, were made Honorary Members of RFTRA. Bert has worked for many years as a Community stalwart within his associations and within RFTRA.
We wish him and Joyce well in their retirement.

TENANTS AWARD FROM HOUSING RBC
Tenants now have chance to be rewarded for their time in filling in and returning repairs completion forms
3 tenants drawn from returning repairs slips are:-

Mrs.Akhtar.Won £100.00 Sainsbury’s Voucher
Mr.Alborough. Won £100.00 Morrison Voucher

RFTRA’s Motto is “Working Together” with everyone doing this we can achieve plenty. Our last thank you goes to Chris Bloomfield, who has skilfully Chaired the last 15 of our AGM’s, we send our thanks to you Chris.
